Birds

These days I am recovering from a minor surgical procedure that took place few days ago and I am on medical leave from office. And it is also time for migratory birds to make their moves. My backyard has a few trees and during this time of the year it is house full with birds. I am not an early riser but recently my 3 year old daughter started school and I have to wake up early to drop her to school, so, yesterday, I woke up on that same time, although I just wanted to stretch my legs I noticed a tree full of birds and making a huge noise. For a while I just stood their watching them, then I asked my wife to grab my camera and took some pictures.

Now each morning, at about 7:00 am you can easily wake up by the noise made by these birds, it lasts for about an hour or so and then suddenly there is pin drop silence.

Art on Wheels

Pakistan's Truck art is very famous and it has often been adopted by different countries on cultural exchange for goodwill for friendship.

Recently, a passenger bus was painted by a Pakistani truckart painter for Istanbul City. It is now a visual treat for all. have a look!

 

Previously a tram was also decorated in the similar fashion in Australia.

Unique Identity

Recently I came across an interesting article in a local newspaper. It was about small villages or towns across the world that are known for their uniqueness. In this case, the towns and villages mentioned in the article were known for their appearance.

I was fascinated by this unique identity of these places. It has history attached to it as well. And most importantly, their uniqueness made them famous.

I haven't visited any of them (yet!) but I'd like to share them with you. If you are interested, google them for more information.
